Every figure on this site carries the date it was read, and the window moves as new rules are published. Cite the figure with its read date, not just the URL. For example: "282 federal rules carried an effective date in the following 11 months (Luminory, read 3 September 2026)."
Figures marked derived in the source rail are computed by Luminory rather than reported by the Federal Register. If precision matters, cite the underlying document instead: every row links to it.
Citing an individual rule
Cite the Federal Register document directly. Luminory is a finding aid for it, not a replacement, and the source document is the citable authority. Each row carries the document number, RIN and CFR reference needed to do this.
